Privacy, in Plain English
Last updated: June 2026
We built PuckQuest so kids can track their summer pucks and shots and cheer each other on. Here's the whole story without the legal fog.
The short version
- We collect the bare minimum to run a leaderboard.
- We never sell your data and never share it with advertisers.
- We don't track you. No ad cookies, no spying.
- You're in control — see, fix, or delete your kid's info anytime.
What we collect
From you (the parent): your name and email. About your player: a leaderboard name you choose (we suggest first name + last initial, like "Mason T.") and the number of pucks and shots they log. No address, birthday, phone, or kid email.
Who can see your player's name
Only logged-in members of your team (and the association, if you turn on the wider leaderboard). The leaderboard is not public and is hidden from search engines.
Your controls
View everything, fix a name or rep count, or ask us to delete your player's data. Deleting your account removes their info too. We keep data for the current season, then delete it.
Kids' privacy (COPPA)
A parent creates the account and gives permission before any child's information is added. We only collect what's listed above.
Questions
Email hello@puckquest.com and we'll take care of it.
