About PuckQuest
PuckQuest is a summer training tracker for youth hockey. Kids log their stickhandling touches and shots toward team goals, and climb a leaderboard with their teammates. It was built by a hockey parent, for hockey families — not by an ad company.
Built to protect your kids
- We collect almost nothing. From you: your name and email. About your player: a first name and last initial (like “Mason T.” — if you type a full last name, we shorten it automatically) and their rep counts. No kid emails, no birthdays, no addresses, no photos.
- Kids can't sign themselves up. Every account is created by a parent, with consent recorded, and every player joins only through their own coach's invite.
- The leaderboard is private. You must be logged in to see it, and we tell search engines to stay out. Kids' names are never public.
- Families are walled off from each other. The database itself enforces that one family can never see another family's private information — it isn't just a setting in the app.
- No ads, no trackers, no analytics companies. Zero third-party tracking scripts. We don't sell or share data with anyone.
- Protected and backed up. Everything travels encrypted, and the database is backed up nightly to encrypted storage.
